Single Point Diamond Dressing Tools

Single Point Diamond Dressers are the most common and extensively used type of diamond dressing tools for truing and dressing abrasive grinding wheels. Single Point Diamond Dressers made of a single natural diamond mounted on a shank. The diamond point contacts the grinding wheel 10°-20° angle to the surface and, when traversed across, removes the spent abrasive grains and exposes sharp new abrasive points.

Purpose

• Truing: Restores the concentricity and geometry of the grinding wheel.
• Dressing: Exposes fresh, sharp abrasive grains on the wheel surface by removing dulled grains and bonding material.
